In this warm December evening, memories are also created that a lot of people relive when they themselves create their own significant traditions and carry the light on. Many warm up in the light of this feast which is perceived as both generous and beautiful with Christmas tree lights and candlesticks that illuminate the winter darkness. Traditional food is accompanied by Christmas presents when generations gather for celebration in a convivial community. For most people, Christmas Eve is more about tradition and culture than about religion.
